This allows the resin in the ink to expand spontaneously, forming numerous small bubbles and creating a raised ink layer. When the main component of the foaming ink is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it needs to be heated to 155-210 degrees Celsius after printing and left for more than 15 seconds. This ensures sufficient gasification (gas volume of 190-220 milliliters/gram), forming numerous tiny pores and ultimately creating a raised ink layer.
Both foam printing methods have their advantages and disadvantages. The former is cost-effective and suitable for simple patterns and design requirements, while the latter is more expensive but can be applied to complex patterns and different process equipment.
